I've had a couple requests for an overview of what went down at the con, so I obliged with this very long and rambly post. You're welcome!

( This is the story of how a two-and-a-half day convention turned into a five day one. )

If you haven't seen it yet, RCW 139: Duesers' day off (that would be the one that just ended) got a shout-out in the National Post (one of Canada's papers). It describes a few events from the con and has a couple of quotes from the panels as well. You can read the article here.

So, no big deal or anything, but today I sat roughly 3 meters from my favourite Mountie as he waxed poetic on Shakespeare, music, and the incredible, unique, quirky and lovable show that is Due South. I'm feeling nostalgic today. For anyone who's never seen Due South and enjoys a quirky show with a lot of heart, I highly recommend giving it a watch. There really is no way to accurately describe it - you have to experience it for yourself.  It's an older show but still has a strong fan base - in fact, there's a convention in Toronto this summer.
